Tanya Sharpe, Reception

Tanya Sharpe grew up in the small town of Colborne, Ontario, knowing very little about Agriculture in general. When the time came for University, she made her way to the University of Guelph, met and married an “Aggie”, and has been there ever since!

For many years, Tanya worked as a Sales Manager in Home Health Care and Rehab Equipment. Her colleagues from her “work” life, where she set up wheelchairs for people with mobility issues, usually had a very hard time imagining Tanya going home to help feed animals or run equipment on her farm…however, she soon learned that was where she truly loved to be! Her farm is a bit of an “Old MacDonald’s Farm,” with some cows and calves, chickens, sheep, horses, a dog and a cat!

Tanya and husband Michael have now been married for 21 years and have 4 great kids! Kaitlyn is the oldest at 17, Mikayla is 15, Thomas is 11 and Gabby is 5 years old. They have a crazy busy household with all of the kids involved with lots of sports, and 4-H projects constantly on the go! However, with all four kids in school full-time, Tanya is excited to be able to go OUT of the house to work and is happy to be part of the team at Upper Grand Veterinary Services.
