Alina discovered a passion for farm animal medicine during her studies at the Ontario Veterinary College, where she focused her last year on completing as many large animal-centered rotations as possible. Graduating in 2023, she joined the Upper Grand team that same summer. Alina enjoys working with all species and clients but has a special interest in small ruminant medicine. Having grown up in a small town along the banks of the Ottawa River, she values the importance of accessibility to care and understands the unique challenges of providing veterinary care to rural communities. She looks forward to continuing the excellent patient and client relationships established at the clinic and is happy to be able to provide services in English, French, and Spanish.
In her free time, you can find Alina hiking or canoeing with her yellow lab Faye, cooking up a new recipe, or playing ukulele.
