While at the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC), Mike spent a summer working with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA) Veterinary Science unit and assisted with various projects relating to digital dermatitis, cow comfort, dairy calf management systems and udder health. Mike graduated from OVC in 2014 and worked at Edward’s Vet Clinic before joining Upper Grand Vets in 2017. His main areas of interest in veterinary medicine are dairy herd problem solving, nutrition, and surgery; and is an OMAFRA-appointed food safety veterinarian.
In 2022 Dr. Mike was honoured by the OVMA with the Associate of the Year Award. This award is presented to an associate veterinarian who has demonstrated superior customer service and has proven to be an asset to their practice, as well as their community.
Mike and his wife Natasha are pleased to be a part of the Guelph community. They share a love for the great outdoors, especially canoe tripping, camping, hiking, playing pond hockey and traveling.
